After the potion of revitalization has been completed, you must wait for midnight starting the correct phase of the moon to start the ritual. Determine the current phase using the command "time". "Help time" shows that one Achaean month is 25 hours irl. One Achaean month should go through all the moon phases. The phases seem to progress with half to six Achaean days (1 rl hour per Achaean day), with midnight starting the new moon phase. I guess that there is some calendar out there but I haven't found it.
Before you start the quest, bring a shovel! You'll need it to dig up the soil. Nearest city to the Northreach Forest is Hashan. Hashan's Bazaar has a shovel for sale for 750 gp.
